Also, the information required for sowing new agricultural crops can also be obtained online through various means. After the production of the crop, the market price of the crop can also be obtained online with the help of smartphone. Thus, assistance will be given to farmers on the purchase of smartphones for various purposes.

Beneficiary eligibility under Khedut Mobile Yojana Gujarat 2023

Farmers’ welfare and cooperation department of the state provides financial assistance to farmers on purchase of smartphones. For this some eligibility has been fixed by the department. Which are as follows.

Farmer applicant should be from Gujarat state.
Should have agricultural land i.e. farmer name should be in 7/12, 8-a.
Even if a farmer has more than one account, he will be eligible for assistance only once.
Even if a farmer owns land in more than one village, he will get assistance only once.
In case of joint account of farmers, only one of the total number of holders will be eligible to get the benefit of this scheme.
The benefit of this scheme will be available only for the purchase of smartphones. Smartphone accessories like covers, toughened glass, ear phones, battery backup devices, chargers etc. will not be included.

Benefits available under Khedut Smartphone Sahay Yojana Gujarat 2023

Farmer Smartphone sahay yojana ikhedut portal provides subsidy to farmers for purchase of mobile phones by the state government. In order to take advantage of this program, certain requirements must be met. which are listed below.

The cost of assistance to the farmers of the state under ikhedut Smartphone Sahay Yojana has been increased. Farmers were earlier getting 10% assistance which has been increased to 40% in the year 2022-23.
Assistance is available on purchase of smartphones up to 15,000/- by the government
Assistance up to 40% of the purchase price of the smartphone or Rs 6,000 whichever is less.
E.g. If a farmer buys a smart phone up to Rs 10000, he can get 40% of its cost i.e. Rs 4000/-. Or if a farmer buys a smartphone worth 17000/- then 40% article becomes Rs 6800-/ but according to the rules Rs 6000 assistance will be available.
Or even if a farmer buys a smartphone worth more than 15,000/-, only Rs. 6,000/- is eligible as subsidy. For instance, if you purchase a smartphone valued at Rs. 20,000, then Rs account for 40%. 8000/ – however sponsorship is a limit of Rs.6000/ – as it were.

How to apply online for Khedut Smartphone Sahay Yojana Gujarat 2023?

If the farmer friends of the state want to avail the benefits of the khedut Mobile Sahay Yojana Online scheme, they have to apply online on the ikhedut portal. Following is the information on how to apply online?..

Farmer friends, first of all open google search in your mobile or computer and type ikhedut and click on the search button.
Now click on the official website of ikhedut from the search result.
On the page of the ikhedut portal website, click on the “plan” icon at the top.
Now you have to click on “Khetiwadi Yojana” “Click here for details”.

After that you have to click on smartphone assistance plan at the bottom of the page.
Now click on apply.
Now if you have registered earlier then click on yes and if you have not registered then click on no.
To register, the farmer friend has to fill the information of his Aadhaar card number and mobile number and then apply in the Captcha box shown on the side.
If the beneficiary farmer is not registered on ikhedut, he has to select no and then apply online.
Now the online form will open. In which the requested information such as applicant’s name, address, mobile number, bank account details etc. must be filled accurately and the application must be confirmed.
Farmer friends should note that once the application form is confirmed, there will be no amendment or increase in the application. So make sure to apply.
Khedutamitra has to get a print out of the application after applying online.
After applying online, take a printout of the application and submit it to the Taluka Extension Officer, Agriculture and Gramsevak of your area along with all the documents.

What is the last date to apply for Khedut Smartphone Sahay Yojana?

Farmers of Gujarat are provided assistance on mobile purchase in Gujarat Farmer SmartPhone Scheme 2023 by State Government Agriculture Department. Farmers have to apply online to avail this assistance with time limit date: 15/05/2023. The last date for application has not been announced by the agriculture department yet. Please note that the last date will be updated on the site when it is announced.
