Gujarat Vhali Dikri Yojana 2023

Vali Dhotti Yojana 2023 is being implemented by the Department of Women and Child Development. This scheme is launched to encourage the birth of daughters in the society. Citizens can apply online under this scheme. 1,10,000/- (Rupees One Lakh Ten Thousand) in total 3 installments to the beneficiary daughters.

Purpose of the Vhali Dikri Yojana

The main aims and objectives of the Vhali Dikri Yojana are given below.

to raise the number of daughters born.
Encouraging and enhancing daughter’s education.
All-round empowerment of daughter/woman in the society.
To prevent child marriage.

Beneficiary Eligibility (Vhali Dikri Yojana Eligibility)

The beneficiary daughter should be a citizen of Gujarat.
Date of Birth of Daughter:- Should be on or after 02/08/2019.
Among the first three children of the couple, all the daughters will get the benefit of the scheme.
Parents having combined annual income of 2 lakh or less (for both rural and urban areas) will get the benefit.
In case of single parent or father’s income will be taken into consideration.
For a daughter whose parents are not alive, grandfather, grandmother, brother or sister can apply for the beneficiary daughter as a guardian.
As per the provision of Child Marriage Prohibition Act 2006, couples who are married at the age of maturity can get the benefit of this scheme.

Vhali Dikri Yojana Benefits

Under Vhali Dikri Yojana Online, benefits are available in total in three installments. 1,10,000/- (one lakh ten thousand) in three installments will be available to the beneficiary daughters.

Detail regarding installment in aid	How much and when will the assistance be available?
under the first installment	Beneficiary daughters will be given Rs. 4000/- will be available.
Under the second Installment	Beneficiary daughter at the time of admission in class-9 Rs. 6000/- will be available.
under the last installment	A total assistance of 100000/- (one lakh) will be available as higher education/marriage assistance to the daughter upon reaching the age of 18 years. But daughter’s child should not be married.

Documents required for Vhali Dikri Yojana

Some documents are required to avail this scheme. The list of which is as follows.

Birth certificate of daughter
Daughter’s Aadhaar Card Number (if any)
Aadhaar card of parents
Birth certificate of parents
Pattern of income
Birth records of all surviving children of the couple
Marriage certificate of parents of beneficiary daughter
Sample Self-Declaration
Copy of ration card of the applicant.
Bank account passbook of beneficiary daughter or mother/father

Vhali Dikri Yojanaa affidavit cancelled

A new provision has been made by Gujarat government regarding affidavit. The process of affidavit has been abolished in the state of Gujarat. Accordingly, a new change has been made in the provision of Vahali Dikri Yojana Sogandnamu. In view of which, the Women and Child Development Department has also canceled the Vhali Dikri Yojana affidavit. Now, the affidavit has been canceled and a self-declaration process has been filed.

How to Online Application Vahali Dikri Yojana 2023?

Vhali Dikri Yojana can be applied for online. Online application for this scheme can be done from Digital Gujarat Portal. The process of applying online on Digital Gujarat Portal is done by people at different levels.

First go to VCE if you are from rural area.
If the beneficiary daughter is from an urban area, one has to go to the “Taluka Operator” of the Mamlatdar office.
The father or mother of the beneficiary’s daughter has to fill the application form in the prescribed format.
All documents must be original.
All documents and parent child scheme form will be verified by Village VCE and Taluka Operator.
Then one can apply online through VCE or Taluka operator through their official login.
Finally, you will be given access to fill the online form, a copy of which should be retained.
