This scholarship is provided by the state “Vikas” Physical Research Ahmedabad of Gujarat state to the students residing in the state and studying in rural areas. So that the students get financial support in the field of higher studies.
In this scholarship, students residing in rural areas are given scholarship from class VIII to class 12. All the details of which are as follows.
Dr. Vikram Sarabhai Scholarship Benefits
In this scholarship, students studying in rural areas are given scholarship assistance of up to 1 lakh rupees. So they get help if they want to pursue higher studies.
The following amounts are awarded to selected students as scholarships every year from Class 9 to Class 12 for a period of 4 years.
- ₹20,000/- in class 9th,
- ₹20,000/- in Class 10
- ₹30,000/- in Class 11
- ₹30,000/- in Class 12
If a student takes admission in science stream after class 10, they are eligible for scholarship in class 11 and class 12.
Eligibility of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai Scholarship
Eligibility of students who want to apply in this scholarship is as follows.
- Student should be residing in rural area.
- The student should be studying in a rural school.
- The income of the guardian should be less than 1.5 lakhs.
